One killed, 5 injured as matatu rams into truck in Molo

One person has died and five others were injured after a matatu rammed into a trailer in Molo area on Sunday morning. 

According to the accounts of the truck driver, both vehicles were heading towards Eldoret direction, and upon reaching Jolly Farm in Molo, the driver of the matatu belonging to Sifa Line Company tried to overtake the trailer before ramming into its rear. 

Traffic police officers rushed to the scene and towed the vehicles to Molo police station.

The body of the 24-year-old lady was moved to Molo sub county hospital morgue as five others continue to receive treatment.
