ODM leaders endorse national conclave proposed by Raila

ODM national chairperson Gladys Wanga, Ndhiwa MP Martin Owino, Migori Woman Representative Fatuma Mohamud , Siaya Woman Rep Christine Ombaka and Nominated Senator Beatrice Ogolla, the leaders faulted former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his allies for opposing the National conclave push to address the pertinent issues affecting the country.
Wanga, who is the Governor for Homa Bay County termed Gachagua and his allies as tribalists who are against a united country.
Governor Wanga laughed off Gachagua trip to the USA, claiming that the former DP has moved his tribal politics to the foreign country where he only meets a section groups from his own tribe leaving out other Kenyans.
Speaking during the official launch of Ratanga modern market, Wanga said the ODM remains intact in the broad-based government arrangements with ruling Kenya Kwanza coalition.
“We [ODM] have agreed to work with President William Ruto. We have no apologies. We will support him and support the programs of the government,” said Wanga.
On her part, Idah Odinga called on leaders and residents from Luo Nyanza to embrace broad-based government arrangements to attract more development projects as it is their time reap from Ruto-Raila relationship.
Fatuma on her part called on youth to stop demonstrations and allow national dialogue being propelled by the ODM leader.
Owino, Ogolla and Ombaka also support the National conclave push for economic and political stability.
