Odinga accuses Jubilee of plunging country to huge debts
CORD leader Raila Odinga has criticized the Jubilee administration for poor governance, adding that the opposition coalition is the only answer to Kenya’s problems.
Speaking in Vihiga County after meeting ODM delegates, Odinga further stated that the Jubilee administration has plunged the country into a debt crisis, accusing Deputy President William Ruto of using public funds to traverse the country with little or no development agenda.
Odinga said that the the Jubilee government has also failed to address issues affecting Kenyans, with poverty still rife across the country.
Speaking at the event, Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya declared his support for Odinga’s 2017 presidential bid, urging the Luhya community to rally behind the former Prime Minister.
Odinga, who is on a tour of Western Kenya, will also visit Busia and Kakamega counties where he is scheduled to meet party officials before addressing public rallies.
