Nyamira family says woman found dead while holding hands with lover was trailed by hitman
The family of the late Angela Moraa, a U.S.-based lady who
was found dead alongside her boyfriend, a medical doctor, has revealed
that she was brutally killed in an apartment within Kisii Township.
Citizen TV has established that prior to the mysterious deaths of the lovebirds, Moraa's family made several attempts to alert DCI in Keroka to the presence of what members say was a hitman who was following the 28-year-old girl.
The autopsy report of Angela Moraa states that she died of blunt force trauma.
According to Angela's family spokesperson, the 28-year-old girl was tortured before she succumbed at the lovers' rental house in Nyamataro.
"Sisi tunazungumzia ile kitu tumeona, mtoto wetu alivunjwa skull na damu iliingia mingi kwa ubongo alafu alikuwa amepigwa sana kutoka huku kwa magoti kuenda juu," said Angela's Family Spokesperson Edward Omuoyo.
DCI sleuths combed the crime scene which was littered with both used and unused syringes as Angela's family revealed that they made several reports at the Keroka DCI offices about threats to Moraa, who was allegedly being trailed by a suspected hitman.
Despite recording an OB at the station, the family says nothing much was done until Angela disappeared mysteriously, only to be found dead in a rental house with her body starting to decompose.
Family, friends, and relatives who converged at Moitunya Primary School in Kitutu Masaba for Moraa's burial eulogized the young girl as a dedicated lady who secured a green card after her completion of KCSE to eke a living in the U.S.
"Huyu msichana tulikuwa na matumaini naye sana na hatukutarajia tungekuwa hapa siku ya leo," said Angela's Family Friend Ben Misati.
Angela's Former Teacher Pamela Codex added, "I’m kindly pleading with you (government) to remember Angela's son, and make sure that he
goes to school."
In Kenyerere village, mourners eulogized the doctor as an accomplished academician who excelled from his elementary education to the university level, where he pursued a degree in medicine before he was employed at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital as a medical doctor.
According to Dr. Bosire's family, the late Angela is reported to have made several attempts to die by suicide. Angela's family however does not agree.
Mourners appealed for speedy investigations by the police to
ascertain whether the incident was a case of suicide or femicide.
