Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria now says that the National Youth Service's (NYS) aim to recruit 15,000 servicemen in February will involve enlisting individuals solely on their qualifications, devoid of any favouritism or corruption.

In a statement on X on Wednesday, Kuria announced that successful candidates will subsequently be posted in a public portal one hour after the exercise concludes.

“No one will have a special list. Not the Director General, not myself as the Cabinet Secretary. Not the President of the Republic of Kenya. Kila mtu ang'ang'ane kwa uwanja," said Kuria.
