Nine-month-old baby killed, 17 people injured in Kilifi bus crash

A nine-month-old baby has
died in a road accident at Matsangoni area on the Kilifi-Malindi highway.
The baby was among
passengers in a bus which crashed on Saturday en route to Malindi from Kilifi.
Confirming the
incident, Kilifi County Police Commander Fatma Hadi said that the bus lost
control, veered off the road and overturned after one of its tyres busted.
Hadi said that 17 people were injured, with two of them in critical condition.
Police have since established that the bus belongs to the Buscar Company.
