The Ndichu twins, Paul and Edward have been charged with assault and malicious damage over their Emara Ole Sereni hotel drama case involving sisters Cheryl and Stephanie Murgor in October, 2021.

Paul Mwaura Ndichu is accused of assaulting Cheryl Murgor, Stephanie Murgor, Chelimo Murgor while Edward Wanyoike Ndichu is charged with assaulting Samuel Ramdas causing them actual bodily harm.

The twins are charged jointly with malicious damage of side mirrors of Ramdas' motor vehicle worth Ksh.87,000.

It is alleged that the two committed the offences on the night of October 16 and 17, 2021 in Lang'ata Sub-county at Emara Olesereni Hotel in Nairobi.

However, only one twin Paul Ndichu took plea on Wednesday and he denied the charges.

He was released on a cash bail of Ksh.100 thousand with an alternative bond of Ksh.100 thousand with a surety of similar amount. His brother Edward was not in court as he was denied permission to be absent from work.

The matter was before Kibra Law Court Senior Resident Magistrate Renee Kitawa who directed the matter be mentioned on March 21, 2022 for Edward Ndichu to plead to the charges.
