Nairobi: Two suspects arraigned for stealing from locked vehicles

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Embakasi, Nairobi, on Thursday, arraigned two suspects accused of breaking into motor vehicles and stealing from locked cars parked outside banking halls.

Charles Mulwa Mwema and Shaban Maingi Rashid were arraigned before the Milimani Law Courts for custodial orders.

According to the DCI, the suspects were involved in a notable incident, reported at the Bensquare Police Post on November 23, 2024, where they stole Ksh.500,000 from a locked motor vehicle.

The Milimani Law Court is set to rule on the matter on Friday.
