Nairobi Governor Sakaja reshuffles cabinet

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has the county announced the reassignment of other CCOs.

Geoffrey Mosiria, who was in the Health Facilities sector was moved to Environment, while Tiras Njoroge was reassigned from Smart Nairobi to Revenue Administration and also made the acting CCO for ICT Infrastructure.

Boniface Nyamu was moved from Mobility to Business and Hustler Opportunities, while Zipporah Mwangi was reassigned from Business and Hustler Opportunities to Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service.

Meanwhile, Machel Waikenda, who was in Economic Planning was moved to Mobility, as George Mutiso will leave Social Services for Cooperatives.

Hibrahim Otieno was moved from Environment to Health Facilities while John Lintari will take over Economic Planning from ICT Infrastructure.

At the same time, Lydia Mathia leaves Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service for Housing and Urban Renewal, while Wilson Gakuya moves from Revenue Administration to the Smart Nairobi docket.

Sakaja has appointed Godfrey Akumali as the county secretary in an acting capacity.

Through a statement on Monday, Sakaja said Akumali will also serve as the County Chief Officer (CCO) for social services.

“Mr. Patrick Analo Akivaga maintains his substantive position as Chief Officer of Urban Planning and Development,” Governor Skaja added.
