Mystery of Ksh.9.26 billion Bunge Towers yet to be completed 14 years later
It
is one of the buildings that form part of the city’s skyline; Bunge Towers is
home to soon-to-be offices for members of both the National Assembly and the Senate.
It
will also house committee rooms where members will conduct their businesses.
Housed
here too are luxury amenities that will see legislators work out, get beauty
treatments, and enjoy meals and drinks.
Also
included in the package is a tunnel linking their offices with parliament
buildings ostensibly for the security and comfort of Members of Parliament.
But MPs
have to wait even longer to be able to access and use these facilities in the
building, touted as the one-stop shop for parliament’s space needs.
The
building was meant to have been completed within just three and half years; nearly
fourteen years later, this is the state of the building still under
construction.
Citizen
TV got exclusive access to the 28-storey building.
