Musician Bahati ditches Jubilee for UDA

Kenyan entertainer Kelvin Bahati, also known as 'Bahati,' has left the Jubilee party and joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
The musician, who dabbled in politics in the previous election cycle, ran unsuccessfully for the Mathare MP seat on a Jubilee ticket.
"Prodigal son, happy to be back home," the singer captioned several photos after meeting top UDA leadership on Wednesday.
"I was welcomed by the party Secretary General Cleopas Malala, other leaders at the UDA Headquarters,'
According to Bahati, President Ruto has created a conducive environment for the youth in Kenya to thrive.
