Mudavadi now claims President Kenyatta’s Cabinet meeting was a trap for DP Ruto
Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader
Musalia Mudavadi now claims that the Thursday Cabinet meeting summoned and
chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta was a political target for Deputy President
William Ruto.
Mudavadi
argued that the meeting was meant to ensure that the DP, who has long been at
loggerheads with his boss, missed attendance so that he could be accused of
skipping government functions.
As he
hailed the Kenya Kwanza coalition presidential flag bearer’s decision to attend
the said meeting, Mudavadi said Ruto’s move was counter-effective to his
political rivals whom he said were planning to taint his name in bad light for allegedly
not delivering on his duties.
watu wengine,” Mudavadi said on Thursday.
“Huu
The ANC
leader similarly accused the State of trying to dupe Kenyans after the Kenya Kwanza
brigade previously raised concerns that no Cabinet meeting had been held in
more than a year.
“Ukweli
