Mt Kenya residents win big as Safaricom Sambaza Furaha now heads to Meru

The Sambaza Furaha na Safaricom caravan entered the third day of its Central Kenya tour and is scheduled to cross into Meru County on Thursday.

The caravan passed through Nyeri Town, Mweiga, Chaka, Naromoru, Nanyuki, and Timau.

Residents gathered to participate in the caravan, which is currently on a tour of the Central region as the giant telco celebrates its 24th anniversary.

"Nimejishindia simu leo, nimefurahi sana," said a winner Amos Nderitu from Nyeri.

Safaricom, in partnership with Royal Media Service, has organized Sambaza Furaha na Safaricom Hii Krisi, in which thousands of Safaricom customers will be rewarded for their loyalty to the services provided by the tech company.

Rachel Wangari another Nanyuki resident celebrated saying, "Nimefurahi sana kama Gen Z kushinda mbuzi…nimepata mbuzi ya Krisi sasa."

The tech company has assured customers of the safety of their data while promising more innovative services in the days to come.

The caravan will visit Nkubu, Mitunguu, Marimanti, Kathwana, Chogoria, and Kionyo on Thursday.
