Millicent Omanga terms critics of Ruto’s Christmas gifts as hypocrites
In a social media post, Omanga described the critics as hypocrites, who lack the heart of giving.
“If you're criticising the president for sharing Christmas gifts with Kenyans who visited him at his home, you're a demented hypocrite. If you're mean, don't force the president and those who have a heart of giving to be mean, too. Alaar!” Omanga wrote on X.
The former Senator is not the only Kenya Kwanza allied personality to censure the critics.
State House spokesperson Hussein Mohamed also took on the critics while providing proof that it has been the tradition for the Head of State to gift citizens every festive season.
“It has been a longstanding tradition, for years, pre- and now in William Ruto’s presidency, and it’s not about to stop. The neighbors are happy, why are these very few people sad? I’d urge them to share with their neighbors as well, it may just relieve them of their negativity. Let’s all share with and love our neighbors and country,” Hussein captioned images of Ruto gifting citizens at his Sugoi home since 2017.
The spokesperson also called out those who habitually fault the President.
“If you're against sharing with your neighbors and humanity, you might want to check if your heart's still beating. Being mean is a bad thing, but it’s even worse to campaign against sharing with humanity,” he said.
The Friday occasion saw hundreds throng President Ruto’s home in Uasin Gishu County to receive the goodies.
