Mavoko MP Patrick Makau, 29 others summoned by DCI in Portland Cement land saga

Member of Parliament (MP) Patrick Makau King’ola, alongside 29 other individuals, have
been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in connection
to the ongoing East Africa Portland Cement land eviction saga.
In
a statement on X, formerly Twitter, the DCI identified Makau and the 29
individuals as persons of interest in the case; many of them being police
officers.
Others inlcude; Julius Mutie Mutua, Pascal Kiseli Basilio, Alex Kyalo Mutemi, Jonathan Mutisya Muinde, Mutua Kathungu and Wilson Munguti.
Also summoned are Wilson Munguti, Members of Kitanda na Mbusya, Omar Shurie, Ben Mulei, Nicodemus Mulei, Anthony Muthoka, Titus Munywoki, Philip Kilonzo, Chris Ougo, Directors of Nyambogi Society, Charles Wambugu, David Juma, Geoffrey Omondi, Kizito Mutoro, Sharma Wario, Samuel Mukuusi, Joseph Mumira, Martin Korongo, Vincent Kipkorir, Cecilia Mbete Nzioka, Charles Kipkirui Ngetich, S.C. Njoroge and G.G. Gachihi
“These individuals are hereby
directed to the Officer in Charge of the Land Fraud Investigation Unit at the
DCI headquarters tomorrow October 18 at 8 am,” said the DCI.
