Manoah Esipisu exits as Kenya's High Commissioner to UK

Kenya's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Manoah Esipisu.
Esipisu took to social media to announce that he is leaving the famous No. 45 Portland Place London, where he was appointed to by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Today I bid farewell to the famous No. 45 Portland Place London. Great staff. Great moments. A fine Innings. Thanks to HE President William Ruto for retaining me in post and grateful for the opportunity to serve government in diplomacy and communication," Esipisu announced.
He went on to share photos with his staff, perhaps the last moments together as Kenya's diplomat.

Esipisu was among the few diplomats who were retained by President William Ruto when he took over power in 2022, despite a major fall out with his former ally Uhuru.
Diplomatic appointments are largely political, and it was likely that Ruto would throw in his people as replacement to those appointed by Uhuru.
However, he did not touch Esipisu as he made reshuffles, moving sitting diplomats to other destinations.
Recently, Esipisu was feted as the diplomat of the year in an event that went down in London. He was feted alongside nine other diplomats, all based in the UK.
"To be performing at the highest level here is because of the support I have got from my colleagues at the Kenyan Mission and from my beautiful wife who is here and my family. and I want to thank them dearly for this," Esipisu said while receiving the award in April.
The awards ceremony is organised by the Diplomat Magazine and this was its 14th anniversary.
