Machakos: 21-year-old woman arrested in husband's stabbing death

A man in Matuu township, Machakos County, has been stabbed to death by his 21-year-old wife in an escalating domestic wrangle.
According to neighbours familiar with the incident, the suspect stabbed her husband after claiming she was disappointed by him.
The man, 23, was stabbed on the left side of the chest according to reports, and died instantly.
The 21-year-old woman, who is being treated as a murder suspect, stabbed herself using the same knife.
She was bleeding and
was taken to Matuu level four hospital, treated, and escorted to Matuu police
station where she is currently held.
The body of the deceased has been removed to Matuu level four mortuary awaiting autopsy.
