‘Leave my husband alone!’ DCI officer reveals threats Sharon Otieno received from mystery woman
The hearing of the late Sharon
Otieno murder case in which former Migori Governor Okoth Obado is a suspect proceeded on Tuesday, with DCI officer Ezekiel Ade testifying to the
court that the deceased was receiving threatening messages from an unknown
woman.
Some of the said texts involved the yet-to-be identified woman requested Sharon to leave her husband alone, going
ahead to even tell her that she will pay dearly for going out with the said man.
“Please leave my husband alone I've gotten your number
finally...I have to look for you and fight you...I have to fight you irrespective
of what it will cost...Idiot...gold digger...I will fight you to the bitter
end,” read some of the message.
“I have to do for you the worst
I can irrespective of the cost it's going to take, you will not walk away with
it. Idiot. Prostitute. Gold digger. Please, I'm requesting that you to leave my
husband alone.”
The witness said that he could
not tell who the husband being claimed was.
In response to the said
message, Sharon wanted to know who the lady was but was not able to identify
the unknown number.
‘You must pay this dearly. I
have everything about you," another message to Sharon read.
Her response read: “I love a
very peaceful life. Maybe I'm dating a guy I think is single but [is] married.
I will just be honest then I walk away.”
According to the witness,
Sharon might have saved former Migori Governor Okoth Obado as ‘Honey’ on her
phone.
In another message sent from Sharon’s
phone to the said Honey, it read: “It's there, I didn't terminate it. Your baby is kicking...it's
as if he is playing football in my womb.
The person at the other end of
the line, in response to Sharon, said: “Try your luck elsewhere; you are not
going to blackmail me.”
She then replied saying; “I'm
not blackmailing you in any way. What's wrong with you? Whether you accept it
or not, we are having a baby, it's a reality you can never escape from.”
