Kitusuru man reports wife's kidnapping, finds her with unknown second husband in Narok

An unusual incident has been brought to light by detectives investigating a kidnapping incident that turned out to be an estranged love triangle case.

A police report revealed that Brian Andore made a report at Kitsuru Police Station on November 9, that his wife was kidnapped by unknown people who had promised her a job opportunity.

Andore is said to have received a shocking demand of Ksh.150,000 in ransom from an unknown phone number, prompting the indulgence of police authorities.

DCI's Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) and Operations teams launched a probe and on November 13, they arrested the suspect whose number was believed to have been used for the ransom demand.

The suspect identified as Chiranzi Tsuma Mbaru was interrogated but officers established that the speculated reports were false.

Officers extended the probe which led them to Oldonyo Orok, Narok South on November 16 where the woman's number was last located.

It was in the said location where the woman was found at her unknown husband’s house, one George Odada, together with her two female children.

Preliminarily investigations have established that the incident was a case of a complicated love triangle and not kidnapping.

Odada and the woman were escorted to Nairobi for further interrogation.
