Police in Kisumu have nabbed a suspect
caught on camera carrying out a daring armed robbery in Bondo last month where
an M-Pesa agent was robbed of Ksh.300,000.
In the CCTV footage seen by Citizen Digital, the suspect Hesbon Amoge alias Boss is captured stuffing money inside a bag as
his accomplice points an AK 47 rifle at the M-Pesa attendant.
Nyanza Regional Police Commander Karanja
Muiruri says the suspect had been on the run since committing the crime on
November 19, 2022.
Karanja says police mounted an intelligence
operation on Monday that finally led them to the suspect's hideout in Kondele area
where he was arrested after being positively identified from the CCTV footage.
The suspect has been placed under police
custody in Kisumu pending a handover to Bondo DCI officers who are processing
the case.
Karanja says a manhunt is still on for his
