Kisumu mother in anguish after 9-month-old baby allegedly stolen on Christmas Day

A woman from Holo in Kisumu County is in distress after her 9-month-old baby was allegedly stolen on Christmas Day.

Sharon Otieno claims her baby was taken away by a woman she knows.

Ms Otieno, who sells second-hand clothes, says the suspect was her customer who timed her and picked up the baby.

She says she had left the son behind with his 4-year-old brother only to later come back and find the baby missing.

The trader says she has reported the matter to local police but since then, both the baby and the suspect have not been traced.
