Kijabe traffic snarl-up cleared after accident at Magina area

According to Dr. Resila Onyango,  spokesperson for the National Police Service, the disruption was caused by an accident in the Magina area around 4:00 a.m. 

The incident caused significant traffic congestion along the busy highway.

Dr. Onyango confirmed that the issue has since been resolved.

"The accident has been processed, and the highway is now clear," she said in a statement to the public.

To avoid similar disruptions, motorists are advised to drive with caution, especially in areas prone to early morning fog or heavy traffic. 

The police have reiterated their commitment to maintaining traffic flow and responding quickly to incidents on major roads.

Traffic in the Kijabe and Magina areas has since returned to normal, with police expressing gratitude to the public for their patience during the morning's inconvenience.
