Kiambu: Probe as child found alive beside decomposing bodies in suspected murder-suicide

The police had found the decomposing bodies of the couple on Sunday, whereby the man was hanging by an electricity cable and the woman lying on the floor. 

A one and a half-year-old child was found beside the couple and was rushed to the Mutuini Hospital for treatment.

The detectives have since discovered that the man, identified as Reuben Ndede, killed his wife before taking his life.

The wife's identity still remains unknown. 

Preliminary investigations also revealed that the toddler was rescued from their house after staying for days with the parents' decomposing bodies. 

The officers await the autopsy on the bodies to unearth more details of the incident.
