Kenya Kwanza leaders in Bungoma condemn Monday protests

Bungoma leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza coalition have hit out at Azimio leader Raila Odinga on his planned Monday protests.

 

Speaking at the funeral of the late Former Director General  of the Communications Authority (CA) Engineer Francis Wangusi in Kanduyi Constituency, the politicians led by Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka and Senator David Wakoli Wafula called on the opposition leader to call off the protests.

 

The leaders argued that if the demonstrations will proceed, then the families of Azimio leaders should be on the frontline, and that the government will not allow loss of property and life.

 

Lusaka warned youth's about being used by politician's come Monday, saying any attempt to forcefully enter State House will be dealt with by the police.

 

Senator Wafula on his part said it is high time Kenyans put opposition leader Raila Odinga in prayer.

 

Other legislators present were Kimilili MP Didimus Barasa, Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama and Webuye East MP Martin Pepela.

 

The leaders said that if the demonstration is for the good of Kenyans, then the families of Azimio principals should lead.
