The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) Board accepted the resignation of Eng. Kungu Ndungu as the Director General after serving for over three years.
In a statement, the board's chairman Winfrida Ngumi announced the appointment of Eng. Luka Kimeli as Acting DG.
Further, Eng. Philemon Kandie tendered his resignation as the Director General of the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA).
In his place, the KeRRA board appointed Eng. Jackson Magondu in an acting capacity. Magondu previously held the role of Director in charge of Planning, Design and Environment.
"The Board of Directors would like to appreciate the outgoing Director General for his invaluable service and contribution to the Authority," the statement read in part.
In both instances, the road agencies declined to provide further reasons for their resignations.
