Kalonzo terms Gen Zs top heroes of the year

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has celebrated Gen Z youths as the year's heroes and heroines in Kenya. He said the youth have spearheaded a revolution in the country and opened a new era of accountability in governance.

Speaking at Mwingi township where he attended a church service, the Wiper party leader said that the move by Kenyan youths has played a key as an eye opener to all Kenyans to hold their leaders accountable in various capacities.

Kalonzo, who was in the company of Jubilee chair Jeremiah Kioni, former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu, and a battery of Ukambani legislators, also said that he was opposed to any attempts to impeach the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua illegally. He argued that it would be only fair if he is first heard.

Jeremiah Kioni said Kalonzo was the only politician who would help in sending President Ruto home come 2027.

Ferdinand Waititu on his side apologized for supporting the UDA party in 2022 elections, saying they made many fake promises to Kenyans.

He promised that the entire Mount Kenya region was behind Kalonzo and devoted in supporting Kalonzo's presidential bid come 2027.

Kitui senator Enoch Wambua on his side castigated President William Ruto for trying to remove his Deputy through the back door, and for going against the constitution.
