The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is on Monday set to launch its post-election evaluation report for the August 9, 2022 polls.

This is after the electoral body’s series of post-election meetings to reflect on its gains and challenges in last year’s General Election.

During the meetings, IEBC also deliberated on areas of improvement towards a more seamless electoral process.

A communiqué from the commission said the post-election evaluation report will be launched at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi from 8AM, where speakers of both houses –  Moses Wetangula and Amason Kingi; Chief Justice Martha Koome and Attorney-General Justin Muturi will be in attendance.

Council of Governors Chairperson Anne Waiguru as well as the Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji, will also grace the event.

In the recent IEBC meeting held on Wednesday, January 11, Chairperson Wafula Chebukati and Commissioners Molu Boya and Abdi Guliye bid the commission farewell.
