HRM exam board releases November 2023 results

A total of 1,366 candidates sat the November 2023 CHRP examinations in the Old and Revised CHRP Curriculum. Male candidates were 313 (23%) while female candidates were 1053 (77%).
Among the total 1366 candidates, 746 sat Old CHRP Curriculum, achieving an impressive average pass rate of 89.58% across all three parts of the curricula.
The old curriculum posted exceptional results in various subjects, units with highest mean score included; Employee Resourcing (70.72), Principles and Practice of Management (65.75), Human Resource Research Project (68.55).
While the Lowest mean scores: Introduction to Financial Accounting (43.01), Organization Change and Development (46.98), Strategic Human Resource Management (53.23).
Under the Revised CHRP Curriculum, 620 candidates sat the professionals human resource examinations. Units with highest mean score included Highest mean scores: Employee Resourcing (66.04), Employee Relations and Labour Laws (65.8), Human Resource Audit (69.65).
While the Lowest mean scores was Human Resource Management (49.92), Compensation and Reward Management (57.73), Organizational Development and Transformation (50.96).
Chairperson of HRMPEB, CS Sharon Kisire MBS, highlighted the significant achievements of the Board with regard to its programs.
“It gives me great pleasure to state that the Revised CHRP Program has successfully hit the ground and progressively attracting large numbers of candidature on its third series of administration.
Likewise, the CBET Diploma program kicked off with the pioneer class of 16 students from Kabete National Polytechnic. We have also enrolled the second cohort of Diploma students from various colleges across the country, including Eldoret National Polytechnic, Sigalagala National Polytechnic, The Kenya Coast National Polytechnic and KCA University.
In addition, 405 candidates enrolled for Private Candidature Program which offers a more flexible learner pathway and recognizes that learning may also take place outside a formal classroom’’
The inauguration of CBET Diploma Program attracted 16 candidates who sat for five (5) courses, achieving an average pass rate of 81.3%. Principles of labor economics recorded the highest mean mark of 59.31 while Business communication recorded the lowest mean mark of 46.13
Salaash Leteiyo Ronnie emerged as a standout candidate, excelling in four out of the five examined subjects.
The program, initiated at Kabete National Polytechnic, has made significant strides, attracting candidates from various other TVET who will sit exams in the coming series.
