HR exams body releases June 2024 CHRP results

This examination series marked a significant milestone with a total of 1,427 candidates participating across seven exam centres nationwide, an increase from the 1,366 candidates in the November 2023 series.

The candidate demographic comprised 304 male candidates (21%) and 1,123 female candidates (79%), reflecting the growing interest and participation in the CHRP program.

During the result release ceremony, the Board announced the introduction of three new examination series.

“HRMPEB has introduced three examination series per year. By increasing the number of examination series, we are addressing the stakeholder demand for more frequent examinations and special examination sessions.

"This will enable students to complete the CHRP program in a shorter time frame, provide training institutions with more intake opportunities, and align our schedule with other professional examination bodies such as KASNEB,” stated CS Commissioner Sharon Kisire, HRMPEB Board Chair.

The decision to introduce three examination series annually is also expected to increase the number of CHRP-certified professionals each year. This change will benefit students, including those needing re-sits, by providing more opportunities for examination. Additionally, this adjustment aligns HRMPEB with global best practices in professional certification.

The board says this proactive step demonstrates HRMPEB’s commitment to enhancing the certification process and supporting the academic and professional growth of human resource professionals in the region.
