It’s time to get ready for this inaugural walk slated for Saturday, June 8, 2024, in Nairobi.

The University of Nairobi Alumni Association (UONAA) will host the event.

Why Should You Join?

As UONAA we aim to bring together graduates of the University of Nairobi (UoN), to participate in governance and development of their alma-mater.

Our mission is to create strong liaisons between graduates, companies, and the university. By participating, you'll be part of a vibrant community dedicated to supporting and uplifting UON through scholarships for the university needy students, which is the main aim of the walk.

Make a Difference

One of the main goals of this walk is to raise funds for scholarships for the university's needy students. Currently, UONAA grants Ksh.2 million in scholarships annually. With your support, we aim to increase this to at least Ksh.50 million per year. Your participation can help make a significant difference in the lives of bright but needy students.

The Walk Route

The walk will cover a scenic 10km route starting from the UoN Chancellor’s Court. You'll journey through Chiromo Campus, Ring Road Kileleshwa, Yaya Centre, Argwings Kodhek Road, UoN Dental School, and back to the Chancellor’s Court. This route not only offers a pleasant walk but also showcases the beauty of Nairobi and our university's campuses.

Who Will Be There?

Expect to walk alongside prominent UoN alumni, influential stakeholders, top government officials, dedicated philanthropists, students, university staff, and friends of the university. Bring your family and friends for a day of fun, fitness, and networking.

Raise funds to support bright but needy students at the University of Nairobi. Enhance the visibility of UON Alumni Association activities.

Provide a platform for networking and engagement among UON alumni and supporters.
