Governor Kingi-led PAA party says it is ready to form pacts with like-minded parties

The Pamoja African Alliance (PAA), led by Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, has announced that they are now willing to form alliances with any party if their terms are justly agreed upon.

Governor Kingi has stated that before accepting a pact with any party, they will thoroughly examine their outlined matrix.

"Ule wakati wa kubebwa ufala umeisha. It is time we sit together and discuss because that is what other regions are doing," said Governor Kingi at a PAA meeting on Thursday.

Speaking at the same event, Sammy Jundo, the party youth leader, denied that the coastal region is only ODM's bedroom stating they are at liberty to extend their pacts other like-minded parties.

"We as the youth are ready to popularize the PAA party everywhere across the country and we want to point out that Pwani sio bedroom ya mtu yoyote," he said.

The Kingi-led party was formed after Governor Kingi was removed from ODM as county chairman after it was discovered he was forming a political party for the region.

He is serving his second and last term as Governor.
