Gachagua calls out Ruto over 'culture of lies', accuses him of destroying education and health systems

Speaking during the launch of Martha Karua's Peoples Liberation Party (PLP), Gachagua explained that the country's critical sectors were failing due to unkept promises by the Ruto administration. 

He claimed that Ruto managed to hoodwink the elite and common mwananchi; including the clergy who unanimously supported the Kenya Kwanza administration during the 2022 elections. 

"In a record two years, Ruto has destroyed Kenya's health and education system and made the cost of living unbearable, nothing is working. These two years have been filled with nothing but lies," he noted. 

"Ever since I was born, I have never seen a liar like Ruto. This guy looks you straight in the eye and lies without hesitation. Many people from home have blamed me, saying I'm the one who brought him to them. I try to defend myself, saying I'm just an ordinary Kenyan from Wamunyoro."

The former DP said that Ruto's schemes had been exposed as Kenyans were aware of his rhetorics. 

"If this man has managed to lie to bishops and pastors who have been anointed, who is Rigathi Gachagua? Ruto came with a Bible and could sing every song in my mother tongue. I don't know when he used to learn them. He used to sing and we would stare at him thinking God had brought us an angel," he pointed out. 

Gachagua joined political leaders such as Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Former UNCTAD Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi, Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka for the rebranding of Karua's NARC-Kenya party to PLP. 

What was once a bromance between Ruto and Gachagua has turned into a fierce rivalry after the latter was impeached. 

From that day forth, Gachagua has been hell-bent on exposing exposing what he describes as the 'dirty dealings' by the Ruto administration.
