Technology giant Google has
released a list of items most Kenyans searched for on the platform in the month
of October.
Among the searched items
included; Travis Maina, the 2-year-old boy who had a fork jembe lodged in his
skull following an accident at their home, and who died while undergoing
surgery at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
Another item was the
appointment of new Aide-de-Camp Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga, as well as new Directorate
of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss Amin Mohamed.
The October Google Search
data also shows that Kenyans went online to searh for the meaning of Huduma Day,
which was formerly known as Moi Day.
Kenyans also attempted to
keep up with global breaking news in the entertainment space, notably movie
releases and popular television series.
Many searched for
information about American far-right conspiracy theory and fake news website,
InfoWars founder Alex Jones; Black Adam, a 2022 American superhero film based
on the DC Comics character released last month; as well as Marvel’s Wakanda
