UPDATE: Fire at Upper Hill High School contained, no casualties

There was anxiety on Wednesday evening after a fire broke out in one of the buildings at Upper Hill High School in Nairobi.

Heavy smoke was spotted billowing from the school compound at around 7pm.

The fire was however contained within an hour by Kenya Red Cross rescue teams.

According to the Kenya Red Cross, there were no casualties from the incident.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
