According to Met Director General Dr David Gikungu, the regions include Western Kenya, Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, Central Kenya (including Nairobi), Coast, South-Eastern Lowlands and parts of the North.
However, other regions will experience sunny, dry and hot weather conditions.
The maximum temperatures are expected to be above 30 degrees Celsius while minimum temperatures will drop below 10 degrees, especially in parts of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, Central and South Rift Valley, and around Mt Kilimanjaro.
Regions around Lake Victoria Basin and parts of the Highlands in the Rift Valley will experience sunny intervals during the day but are likely to also experience morning rains and afternoon showers.
For the North Rift Valley (Uasin-Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Baringo and West-Pokot Counties), days will be sunny with scattered clouds while nights will be partly cloudy.
In areas in Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, and Taita-Taveta Counties, the days are expected to experience light showers with sunny intervals. The nights are expected to be partly cloudy.
In the coast region, hot temperatures will prevail during the day while nights will be partly cloudy. However, a few regions may experience morning, afternoon and night showers.
