The fans, in their numbers, hired several pimped up nganyas, and in videos shared only, were up as early as 1 am, ready for the over 400km drive to Nyanza.
Armed with Vuvuzelas, and hanging different banners bearing the different fan branches on the minibuses, the fans sang and blew their instruments of work, excited to welcome the club back to the KPL.
In another clip, the pimped up minibuses that mostly ply Nairobi routes, formed a long line, with the fans hanging precariously, as they hooted and blared, a very common culture among KPL heavyweights Gor Mahia's fans.
Shabana is playing Murang'a SEALS at the Raila Odinga stadium in Homabay County, after their homeground, Gusii stadium in Kisii, was closed for renovations.
The club has attracted massive following, especially from members of the Kisii community, with many fans coming together to form different branches to support the club.
Shabana last played in KPL 17 years ago, and it is pride of the Gusii comkunity that their club is back.
