EACC recovers prime land that had been grabbed in Nakuru
The Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) has recovered a prime public land worth more than a Ksh. 100 million within Nakuru City few meters from Nakuru lands office popularly known as Ardhi House.
According to records with EACC, the land was set aside in 1984 for government offices before it was grabbed by private individuals in collusion with the then-lands commissioners.
Moreover, the land which has since been developed by the individuals will see current illegal occupants who are mainly traders suffer by being forced to vacate the premises.
EACC has since moved to obtain a court injunction.
