DPP nominee Renson Ingonga says his net worth is Ksh.300M

Appearing for vetting before the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) on Thursday, Mr. Ingonga said that the wealth is comprised of the house where he lives and land property.

Ingonga, who served as an Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions, was picked by President William Ruto on August 17 from a list of 15 candidates shortlisted by the Public Service Commission (PSC).

Upon undertaking the vetting exercise, the Committee will be required to submit a report to the House within 21 days.

If approved by the National Assembly, Ingonga will replace Noordin Haji who left the office following his appointment as Director-General of the National Intelligence Service (NIS).
