Dalcom Kenya has moved to court against the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for allegedly blocking the company from accessing funds in its bank account.

The company, which specialises in manufacturing of speed limiters and tracking devices, claims that KRA has declined to listen to them despite visiting the State agency’s offices and raising objections.

Dalcom now claims that they’re worried and fearful that their properties may be auctioned, thereby leading to loss of clients.

They now want the court to compel KRA to pay them damages.

The company argues that sometime in March this year, they received notice from KRA claiming that they had defaulted in tax remittance for the period of November 2014 to July 2016.

"The petitioner raised objection to the said notice and vehemently challenged its accuracy," read court papers.
