CS Moses Kuria teases Senator Chesang over Rolls Royce blunder in Abu Dhabi

Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria has teased Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang for seemingly appearing to have difficulty comprehending the operational mechanisms of a Rolls Royce vehicle in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a video shared on X on Friday, Kuria posted footage capturing Chesang escorting a seemingly wealthy Arab man to his car, a Rolls Royce Spectre.

The pair are seen conversing briefly before the Arab man boards the vehicle from the passenger's side.

Unaware of one of the features of the Rolls Royce Spectre, Chesang proceeds to manually shut the door, not realizing that the vehicle can automatically close its doors with the press of a button.

Chesang's well-intended gesture did however not secure the door properly, with the Arab man, who Kuria labelled a friend, reopening and allowing it to close automatically, prompting the Trans Nzoia Senator to burst into laughter after realising his initial mistake.

Subsequently, the Senator bids farewell to the Arab man before the video ends.

"Be careful whom you take with you Majuu. My brother Sen Allan Chesang tried some manual stuff on my Abu Dhabi friend's Rolls Royce Spectre forgetting this is not Endebess," Kuria captioned the video.

According to the Dupont registry, an American luxury vehicle digital marketplace, the price of a Rolls Royce Spectre starts at approximately USD 400,000 (around Ksh. 62.8 million) for the base model but "customization options and additional features can significantly drive up the vehicle's cost".
