Creative Kenyan dreamed up new currency design and people did not like it
A Kenyan twitter user (@_DickyJr) released his own creative imagination of how the expected new Kenyan currency should look like and Kenyans went raving with anger, mistaking them with the actual designs sanctioned by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
Dicky uploaded photos of his designs on his Behance platform even going ahead to give a disclaimer that read; This in NOT legal tender and is NOT sanctioned by the CBK or the Government of Kenya.
However, as the images spread wider and wider, Kenyans being Kenyans started making their own assumptions, even going as far as throwing jibes at the government and CBK over the ‘posh’ look of Dicky’s imagination of the new-look currency.
Below are the images of how the Kenyan currency should look like from Dicky’s eyes;
Here are some reactions from Kenyans On Twitter who mistook the designs as having been sanctioned by the CBK;
Kenya's new currency has Athletes to represent the Kalenjin community and Mt Kenya to Represent Kikuyu community. Tribalism must be rejected.@Disembe @C_NyaKundiH @MigunaMiguna @KBonimtetezi @CoalitionNASAKe pic.twitter.com/PAca07O4p4

Those new generation currency notes do resemble Kenya Charity Sweepstakes tickets.
