Couple killed in plane crash at Naivasha’s Kedong Ranch

A couple lost their lives on Thursday evening when a light plane they were flying in crashed at Kedong Ranch in Naivasha.

Marcus Dunn and Anne Dunn were heading back to their farm in Loldia, Naivasha when the incident occurred.

It took police officers and rescuers over six hours to access the wreckage before recovering the pair’s bodies and personal effects, including a firearm.

Naivasha Deputy DCIO Isaac Kiama confirmed the incident, noting that poor visibility caused by fog in the area might have contributed to the accident.

He added that upon impact, the plane and its occupants were trapped in a valley, which hampered rescue and recovery efforts.
