Coast leaders unite at Iftar dinner in Mombasa, laud Ruto-Raila partnership

The leaders drawn from across the political divide hailed the broad-based government as speaker after the speaker hailed President William Ruto and ODM Leader Raila Odinga for uniting Kenyans in their joint initiative.

Among those in attendance were UDA Deputy Party Leader and Lamu Governor Issa Timmamy, National Assembly Deputy Majority Leader Owen Baya, MPs Kassim Sawa Tandaza (Matuga), Feisal Badar (Msambweni), ODM's Kwale Senator Issah Boy and UDA's Taita-Taveta Woman Rep Lydia Haika.

Also, in attendance were several top government officials, including Principal Secretaries Shadrack Mwadime (Labour), Mohammed Dagar (Transport), and Deputy Government Spokesperson Mwanaisha Chidzuga among others.
