Chaos erupt as goons disrupt church service ahead of Gachagua's visit

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's security fired gunshots on Sunday morning to disperse a rowdy group attempting to interrupt a church service at PCEA Kasarani East Parish.

Citizen Digital obtained footage showing officers firing in the air to repel the charging goons who had attempted to storm past the church's gate.

Gachagua had, however, not yet arrived at the premise at the time of the melee.

A number of cars have been left with shattered windshields.

Moments after Gachagua arrived, Murang'a Senator Joe Nyutu condemned the act, calling for swift action against those involved.

He also accused President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja of orchestrating the chaos, warning them of reaping what they sowed.

"Ikiwa Ruto na Sakaja mumehusika na kitendo cha Leo ndani ya kanisa, basi uongozi wenu ni mene mene tekeli.Kwa sababu huwezi fanya hayo katika kanisa ambako tunmwadu mungu wetu," he said.

Other leaders who echoed Senator Nyutu's sentiments include Naivasha Member of Parliament (MP) Jayne Kihara and her Starehe Counterpart Amos Mwago.
