Cabinet nominees to be sworn in on Thursday

The 24 Cabinet nominees who were on Wednesday appointed by President William Ruto are set to be sworn in on Thursday, October 27.

President Ruto officially appointed and gazetted the names of all the 24 Cabinet nominees whose nominations the National Assembly approved on Wednesday following vetting by the Committee on Appointments.

Dr. Ruto in a Gazette Notice issued hours after the National Assembly's approval gazetted the names of 22 Cabinet Secretaries, the Attorney General Justin Muturi and Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau.

The 24 comprise 22 Cabinet Secretaries, the Attorney General Justin Muturi and Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau.
