Bomet pastor invited to pray for Form 4 candidates allegedly elopes with female student

In a police report filed at Konoin police station, the suspect was allegedly last seen boarding a Boda boda with the student at Mogogosiek trading center before they disappeared into a dusty murram road without further trace.
According to Bomet County education director Leonard Ngugi, his department alerted the area OCS on the incident. The two are said to have crossed over to the neighboring Narok County.
"We are hoping that the police are making their effort to nab them wherever they are so that the parents are handed over their child to proceed with her education. It's unfortunate that the student should now be revising for her national exams," Ngugi said.
Bomet County Parents Teachers Association (PTA) chair Stephen Kosgei urged schools to be very cautious about visitors interacting with students.
