Bomet man flees after allegedly killing his wife

Bomet county police commandant Edward Imbwaga said the lifeless body of the deceased, identified as Beatrice Ng'eno was found inside their house, with blood oozing from mouth and the nose.
In the police report, the suspect, Peter Ng'eno had a bitter confrontation with his wife before he locked the door from inside and allegedly strangled her.
Area assistant chief Leornard Chirchir said a wild cry by the deceased was heard coming from the suspects' home before the incident was revealed.
"We don't know if she was hit with a blunt object on the head or she died by strangulation, we saw blood from the mouth and the nose, the deceased was a secondary school teacher in one of the schools in the area" added the chief.
The suspect fled after the incident. Police visited the scene and launched an investigation before moving the body to Kapkatet hospital morgue.
