Body of journalist Arshad Sharif flown to Pakistan
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Siddique shared images Sharif's body being loaded into a van with a poster captioned "Here lies the remains of the late Muhammed Arshad" pinned on it.
She subsequently Tweeted; "My husband @arsched coming back home in a coffin. Authorities in Kenya are answerable to us."
Siddique, in her previous tweets, had requested to be allowed privacy as they mourn their loved one further pleading with the public to desist from sharing their family photos.
"Respect our privacy and in the name of breaking pls don't share our family pics, personal details and his last pictures from hospital. Remember us in your prayers," she Tweeted on Monday.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday directed Ministries of Interior and the Foreign Affairs to take immediate action to ensure Sharif's body returns home and personally supervise the entire process.
He also instructed the secretaries to remain in contact with the Kenyan authorities.
Sharif was shot dead on Sunday night by Kenyan police in a "mistaken identity" circumstance, which has since sparked reaction from the public some opining that he was assassinated.
