Another female student claims to have been raped in school

A student at Kirigara Girls in Imenti Central Constituency has claimed that unknown people drugged and raped her in school bringing back painful memories of rape at Moi Girls School Nairobi.

The Form One student claims that the incident happened in her dormitory at 2am on Saturday after she went to answer a call of nature.

The students says that the assailants stuffed tissue papers in her private parts after the horrifying ordeal.

She says she reported the matter to the school principal who allegedly never reported the matter to the police but called her father instead.

The teenager says that her father was called and told that the daughter was so sick she couldn’t walk properly and was asked to come with a taxi.

When the mother went to school, it is claimed that she was denied access to her daughter for hours with no word from the administration.

When the mother alerted the press who the rushed to the school, it is reported that the principal walked out of the school leaving her deputy to handle the ugly aftermath.

The child’s mother reported the case in Kariene police station where the principal, deputy, and the school nurse were required to record a statement.

Kariene OCPD Elijah Mwangi confirmed receiving the case and said investigations have been launched.
