7 dead after fire burns down house in Embu

Seven people, including a father, mother, two daughters a son and two grandchildren have died after fire razed their house on Saturday night.
The fire gutted their three-bedroom house in Ngimari village, Embu County - that was made of timber- burning them beyond recognition.
Runyenjes police officers are currently at the scene where locals have converged as a sombre mood runs in the area.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
The incident comes a week after another house was burnt to ashes in Gikuuri village, Runyenyes Constituency.
